Will Philip add to his 3,244?
Book Value (Philip Grant) will be the site’s guest editor when I go on my holiday from next Friday for two and a bit weeks.
Philip was one of the first ever people to write a comment on the site and I am sure that he will be shocked to hear that has made or been mentioned in the grand total of 3,244 separate contributions since then. He also took on the task of organising the Politicalbetting party in London in June.
This will enable me to have my first total break from the site since Politicalbetting was created. Whether this is possible we will have to wait and see because as many have found this can be highly addictive. Although I will not be taking my lap-top to our holiday cottage near Biarritz I can still get access on my mobile phone.
Many thanks to Philip for taking this on and I am sure that we all wish him well.

8 Jack - Someone seems to have got hold of an early copy of your party’s manifesto and is even now vigorously spinning against you.
As the last paragraph concludes, “We are a sinful nation; Wickedness of all kinds abounds; our Danger arises from God’s displeasure with us, on account of our Sins; and from that alone” I suspect the Cornerstone Group of involvement.

BTW Which resource was that “treason” from ? There are of course many in Scotland - Aberdeen Uni is good but some foreign ones too - oddly the Uni of Guelph near Toronto is useful .

12 - Jack, I made myself known to the Young Pretender and have been rewarded with a sore head for my troubles.
While engaged upon this diplomatic mission however, I was interrupted by a local Liberal Democrat of my acquaintance who informed me that he had last night been on a cruise on the previously discussed small tub with Mr Charles Kennedy and fellow senior politicians.
I’m sure there is suitable mocking to be had here but my encounter with the Bonnie Prince has left me bereft of original humour, hence I throw this limp anecdote open to anyone that can come up with a suitable punchline.
